Prepare
Heads-up alerts make important reminders less abrupt.
Feature proof
Remylo helps around four moments: prepare before the reminder, alert when it matters, recover when you delay, and keep repeating tasks moving.
The feature spine
Remylo does not add options for their own sake. Each control exists to keep a task moving from preparation, to alert, to delay recovery, to completion.
Heads-up alerts make important reminders less abrupt.
Alarm-style reminders create a stronger response moment.
Snooze continues the task instead of making it vanish.
Missed tasks get visible next-step actions.
Completion clears one-time tasks or moves routines forward.
Before the reminder
Some reminders fail because they arrive cold. Remylo can send heads-up notifications before the main reminder so medication, appointments, calls, errands, and leaving-on-time moments have a clearer path.
Choose no heads-up, 10 minutes before, 30 plus 10 minutes before, or an extended 1 hour, 30 minute, and 10 minute chain.
Optional day-before support can schedule a planning reminder 24 hours before the main reminder.
If a reminder is too close for the full heads-up chain, Remylo keeps the shorter alerts that can still be scheduled.
At the alert moment
On supported iPhones, Remylo uses AlarmKit for alarm-style reminder alerts. If alarm prerequisites are missing, the reminder can still be saved and Remylo explains what will not ring.
AlarmKit powers real system reminder alarms when authorization and device support are available.
Important reminders can keep re-arming every 5 minutes until handled.
The active alarm path gives Snooze and Done actions with visible context for the task.
After delay
Remylo supports delay without treating delay as failure. Snooze escalation, shame-free nudges, visible snooze metadata, and overdue recovery keep the next step available.
Gentle, normal, and aggressive profiles can shorten follow-up intervals as snoozes repeat.
Snooze timing can vary slightly so repeated alerts do not become perfectly predictable background noise.
Eligible overdue reminders can be recovered quickly with actions like In 10 min and Tomorrow.
Routines
Remylo supports one-time tasks and practical repeating routines, then advances completed repeating reminders to the next occurrence instead of leaving the series stuck.
Create daily, weekly, monthly, interval-based, weekday, and weekend routines.
Use Siri, Spotlight, and the Shortcuts app to create reminder alarms for practical moments like medication, laundry, and leaving soon.
Active reminders are grouped by overdue, today, tomorrow, later, and completed states with visible row metadata.
Sync and privacy
Remylo is designed without a Remylo account or analytics-backed business model. Reminder data lives on device and, when available, in the user's private iCloud account.
Reminder data can sync through private CloudKit, while the local fallback keeps reminders readable and writable when iCloud is unavailable.
Your reminder system does not need a separate Remylo login.
No app analytics services, crash reporting services, advertising trackers, or marketing pixels in the app.
Use-case paths
These examples keep the page useful for readers and specific enough for search intent without inventing claims beyond the app.
Medication reminder app
A heads-up can prepare the moment, the main alarm asks for action, snooze keeps the dose visible, and Done confirms the task is handled.
Appointment reminder alarm
Use a reminder alarm when the first notification may arrive while you are busy. If you delay, Remylo keeps the next response visible.
Recurring routine reminders
Smart Repeat keeps practical routines moving. Completion advances recurring reminders instead of leaving the series stuck in the past.
ADHD reminder app
Escalating snooze profiles, visible overdue recovery, and slightly varied follow-up timing help important tasks resurface without shame-heavy copy.
